Next steps The choices your son makes throughout his time at the school will help to determine the path of his life. We will provide him with all the support and advice he needs to make these important decisions. In line with our highly personal approach, we will outline the wealth of options available to him and help him to make the wisest choices to suit his interests, aspirations and abilities. Coombe Sixth Form A great many of our boys choose to stay on at Coombe after Year 11. In addition to our own boys - and pupils from Coombe Girls' School - our highly regarded Sixth Form welcomes students from thirty local schools and establishments. A vibrant community, our ' dual site' Sixth Form is integral to Coombe; for the younger boys, it provides a wealth of role models and leaders for them to look towards and, at times, to work alongside. The Sixth Form provides an important aspirational target for our boys - the perfect stepping stone to the universities and other higher educational establishments to which many of our sixth formers will progress. Working our connections Inevitably, some pupils will choose to leave education after their GCSEs. We have developed strong links within the local business community and the excellent reputation of the Coombe schools acts as a strong recommendation for these potential employers. 19
